The Chair called the meeting to order at 2:30 p.m.

The Minutes of the meeting of November 10, 2020 were circulated for the Committee's information.  The Minutes have been approved at a prior Council meeting.

The Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) inspections for the Municipal Office were reviewed by the Committee.

The Health and Safety items from last months inspections have been repaired. The items from the flood in the basement remain outstanding until basement repairs are completed. 

  • Recommendation 1

    THAT the JHSC Inspection Sheets for the Municipal Office be received and filed. 

  • Recommendation 2

    THAT the October Bank Reconciliation for General Government be received and filed.

  • Recommendation 3

    THAT the October Bank Reconciliation for the Environmental Services Department be received and filed.


The CAO informed the Committee that the Treasurer had requested managers' capital requests be sent to her by the end of the month. Managers are asked to review the operating budget to see if additional reductions can be made and to meet with the Treasurer and CAO to discuss by the end of the month.

    THAT the financial statements for the period ending December 31, 2020 be received and filed.


The next meeting of the Finance Committee will be held February 9, 2021 at 2:30 pm.
